Special Needs Caregiver

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide personalized support and assistance to individuals with disabilities or special needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide mobility assistance, including transfers, positioning, and the use of assistive devices.
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their well-being.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ physical, emotional, and mental health.
- Administer medications as directed and follow care plans outlined by healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement.
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and community outings.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a caregiver, direct support professional (DSP), or in a related field preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, or other special needs is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and support clients as needed.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to pass background checks and necessary clearances.

Compensation:
- $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week
