Galilee Mission is an established, well respected substance use treatment program offering residential, recovery housing, outpatient and intensive outpatient services.
Primary focus is to provide evidence based, person centered care through case management, discharge and aftercare planning, conduct psych-educational groups, complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans and meet with patients on an individual basis.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years' experience in addiction field
- LCDP Certification or working toward certification

Responsibilities:
1. Provide individual and group substance use counseling for outpatient clients.
2. Perform all other core functions, which include screening, intake, assessment, treatment planning, case management, crisis intervention, education, record keeping, referral, relapse prevention, discharge planning, follow-up, aftercare and consultation.
3. Implement Substance Abuse Program according to BHDDH regulations.
4. Maintain office operations with the help of the administrative staff.
5. Attend group/individual clinical supervision meetings and staff meetings.
6. Maintain a professional and therapeutic environment.
7. Maintain accurate and timely charting procedures in compliance with State standards. Document all in Zoobooks Systems
8. Monitor accountability of clients in compliance with program rules.
9. Complete written reports as required by other providers/entities regarding clients status and/or progress.
10. Assist in medication, mental health, legal and medical management through the utilization of Consents for Release and Memorandums of Understanding put into place by executive staff.
11. Participate in groups for the IOP program as required.
12. Schedule all clients through the E H R System scheduling module.
13. Monitor cancellation rates and discharges. Help devise ways to reduce cancellations and increase attendance.
14. Document incidents/events immediately, legibly and thoroughly so the Executive Director can make a report to the State or to address issues within the operation.
Requirements:
· Must have formal education in counseling or related field (Psychology, social work, pastoral counseling, etc.) Programs of treatment for substance abuse may substitute for formal education (ex. DATA workshops).
· Must hold RI certification in Chemical Dependency or its equivalent from another state or be working towards certification.
· Must have the ability to learn and become proficient at the E H R System in documenting all client activities. Must maintain all other state requirements i.e. First aid and CPR training as per BHDDH Rules and Regulations.
· Must be able to provide a BCI and NCIC
· If in recovery must: Have been through a program of 30 or more days, can show a proven record of 3 years of sobriety as evidenced by: Lack of criminal offenses, letters of completion or certificates of attendance from a program.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
