The role:
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for working with cross functional stakeholders to define, develop and implement new processes and tools that will make things simple for our associates and improve the experience for our members, clients and their customers.
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join the Operations Infrastructure team. The Ops Infrastructure team is part of the Global Operations Strategy & Transformation team, which focuses on strategic business transformation initiatives across SoFi and Galileo to align people, processes, and tools with company priorities.
What you will be doing:
Partner across internal teams and stakeholders to understand business and operational needs
Evaluate, prioritize and sequence business capabilities for implementation
Document current state workflows and develop end to end futures state workflows
Conduct gap analysis to identify, design, document and implement solutions to improve business outcomes and deliver consumer-centric solutions
Partner across the team to support the definition of new or improved processes, policies and procedures in tandem with delivery of new Operations systems and tools.
Define requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for new systems and tools
Partner with engineering teams to build and deploy new systems/tools while ensuring business needs are met
Organize, develop and coordinate comprehensive end-to-end test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Organize, coordinate and conduct user demos
Collaborate across team to support implementation / go live of new features/capabilities
Partner to establish: processes, procedures, training and communications
Solicit user feedback to learn, iterate and innovate
Define standard metrics to establish baselines and measure outcomes
What you'll need:
Bachelor's Degree in business or technical field
3-5 years of experience as a business analyst
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Track record of successfully working with business to understand business needs and define/document solutions
Pega case management experience
Exemplary problem solving skills
Demonstrates a strong bias for action
Ability to be agile; Comfortable with change and continuous improvements
Outstanding time management skills and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks while remaining self-directed and detail oriented
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team on multiple tasks and assignments
Structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them
Synthesize complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods
Consumer / Client centric focus
Excellent MS Office / Google Suite skills
Lean Six Sigma experience, preferred
Agile experience, preferred
Financial, payment experience, preferred
