Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness. This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all areas are sanitized and well-kept. A background in housekeeping management or custodial services is preferred, but we welcome candidates with a passion for cleanliness and hospitality.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage floor care tasks such as sweeping, waxing, and polishing floors to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Conduct carpet cleaning and maintenance to ensure all carpets are clean and free of stains.
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or similar roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with residential cleaning techniques and custodial practices is advantageous.
- Knowledge of floor care equipment and carpet cleaning methods is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in the hospitality industry.
