How you'll make an impact
This position will be responsible for performing various and varying tasks to support the data needs of the GBCARE team. This individual needs to be detailed oriented and able to effectively use tools such as Excel and/or SQL to navigate and analyze large data sets to identify trends or outliers. The individual will receive direction from more senior team members and work closely with stakeholders and other groups such as BI IT. The most qualified candidate will have experience working with data, strong organizational skills, and a proven history of being a valuable part of a successful team. Responsibilities typically include:
- Contribute to the delivery of custom ad-hoc reports and data pulls based on internal and external requests.
- Maintain inventory of Business Group’s data assets and reports, including creation and maintenance of usage manuals.
- Responsible for scheduled manual data pulls, report extracts and environment synchronizing activities.
- Support and assist Business users in utilizing dashboards and reports to visualize data insights.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and contribute to the delivery tailored solutions.
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to support business objectives.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
About You
Required:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Visio)
- Microsoft SQL Server experience including stored procedures, views, and database design
- Data analysis
- Problem solving
- Statistical analysis
- Basic programming knowledge
- Data preparation/cleaning
- Data visualization and presentation
