PURPOSE : The Applications Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and solutions to customers, assisting with product selection, and ensuring the successful application of our sealing products. This role requires strong engineering skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support to customers and sales team regarding product selection, application, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate sealing solutions.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Assist customers in the application and integration of sealing products into their systems.
- Perform on-site evaluations and installations as necessary.
- Develop and maintain application guidelines and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing timely solutions.
- Respond to customer inquiries and technical questions promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the engineering and product development teams to provide customer feedback and insights for new product development.
- Assist in the testing and validation of new products.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of existing products and applications.
- Prepare technical documentation, including product specifications, application notes, and case studies.
- Conduct training sessions for customers and internal staff on product applications and technical topics.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
