Duties and Expectations
This position requires the individual to manage a multitude of responsibilities and tasks, all oriented toward maintaining existing clients as well as attracting and obtaining new clients.
Job functions include cold calling, setting appointments, and visiting clients face-to-face.
You are expected to learn our client's business and the environmental terminology and regulations in order for you to perform your job successfully.
Our client bases individual success on your “behavior” as well as sales revenue results.
Our client believes that following behavioral expectations will result in meeting revenue goals.
It is expected that 80% of sales time will be devoted to these top five priorities:
· Cold calling for new business: 15% - 30%
· Face-to-face meetings with new and existing prospects and clients: 25% - 40%
· Following up on client files as needed to fulfill desired results: 15%
· Communication between clients and estimating / sales management: 10%
· Putting together proposals to deliver on-time to clients: 15%
Candidate is expected to live in the territory
Experience
Candidates should have 1 – 10 years’ experience in the environmental sales, hazardous waste industry.
