Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented creative individual to join our team. This is a pivotal role supporting our North American reinsurance brokerage efforts. How You'll Make An Impact
Reporting to the National Sales Leaders, you will develop bespoke pitch decks and be responsible for content creation, the development of case studies and proposals that reflect strategic broker input and analytics insights.
In this role you will:
- Ensure that all sales materials are polished, professional, and visually cohesive by providing support with organizing, refining, and elevating sales materials, and ensuring that the final product is visually appealing and error-free
- Create visually compelling presentations (such as pitch-decks, client reports, RFPs and other client communications) that effectively convey key messages and complex data while delivering visualization, accuracy and brand consistency
- Immerse yourself within the Broker and Analytics teams, transforming their input into professional, client and prospect-ready deliverables that are visually engaging, cohesive and ready for delivery.
- Edit written documents for brevity, grammar, clarity, and readability.
- Maintain constant communication with the sales and RFP teams, ensuring proactive involvement and alignment to meet project timelines.
- Manage priorities and deliverables under tight deadlines, particularly during peak sales periods, while maintaining a focus on quality control.
- Take initiative during slower periods to identify additional ways to support the sales team, ensuring the role’s full utilization.
- Partner with internal Gallagher Re stakeholders such as Marketing, Communications and Art Departments to ensure consistent branding.
- Commitment to Professional Excellence: A passion for ensuring every deliverable represents our organization at its best is essential.
- Proactive Ownership: Take ownership of the refinement and final presentation of materials, ensuring a consistent and polished product. Stay actively involved throughout the process and seek opportunities to improve outcomes.
- Availability and Flexibility: This role requires flexibility during peak RFP seasons (Q2 and Q3), including occasional work outside of standard business hours. Reliability and commitment during these times are critical.
- Attention to Detail: This role demands a meticulous approach to ensuring every deliverable is professional, cohesive, and free of errors.
- Effective Communication: Provide timely updates, respond promptly to team needs, and maintain open communication, especially under tight deadlines.
- Adaptability and Initiative: During slower periods, work with the sales team to identify additional opportunities to refine and improve deliverables, ensuring your role is fully leveraged year-round.
- Familiarity with AI and Its Application in Business: Understanding how AI can enhance business processes is beneficial but not required.
- Prioritization: You will be able to adapt and prioritize projects to meet business need
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Communications, Visual Arts, or a similar discipline.
- 5 or more years of proven experience in a role focused on supporting sales or professional services, with an emphasis on refining and enhancing client/sales materials.
- Strong design, data visualization and storytelling abilities.
- Proficiency with tools such as MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word to create visually polished, client-ready materials. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus but not required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with sales and RFP teams.
- Experience working in a high-stakes, deadline-driven environment is a plus.
