Job Title: Behavioral Health Professional
Salary: Hourly; $20.00
Locations: Monmouth, Maine
Employment Status: Part time afternoons.
Job Description: Gallant Therapy Services (GTS) is seeking a friendly and energetic individual who will be responsible for assisting and facilitating independence in children and adolescents who have varying developmental and intellectual disabilities.

GTS uses a client-centered, strengths-based approach with meaningful activities and skilled, trauma informed staff to help clients to maximize their independence and live their lives to the fullest.
A Day in the Life of a Behavioral Health Professional: As a Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) you are working 1:1 with a child in their home and in your local community. Our BHP’s make a huge impact in the lives of the children/adolescents that we provide services for, through role modeling and personal support. You get to assist the child/adolescent foster independence and achieve developmental milestones!
Qualifications to be a Behavioral Health Professional:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass all required background checks per state guidelines
- Must have a valid Maine Driver's License
- Must have an insured, inspected, registered and reliable vehicle
Experience as a Behavioral Health Professional or in the human services is highly preferred but not required. This position is considered an entry-level opportunity and we will train the right fit to provide all necessary certifications.
