POSITION PURPOSE
A concrete laborer must be able to assist and support the Concrete Journeyman Finisher and Form Setter with form set of footers, walls, slabs, and site work such as sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and gutters on commercial and residential sites. The laborer supports the form setters and finishers on completing work safely, with quality and within productivity specifications as directed by the foreman or superintendent.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Finishers and Form Setters to ensure they have the proper tools and equipment.
- Ensure the job site and tools/equipment are organized and clean.
- Load and unload various construction materials to different areas of the job sites.
- Move concrete pump hoses and pipes to appropriate area.
- Participates in daily huddles and practices safety as a priority on all job sites.
- Models The Gallegos Corporation mission and values at all times.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities
