Position: Part-Time and Per Diem Dietary Aide
Location: Galleria Woods Senior Living, Hoover, Alabama
Pay Rate: $12.50 - $13.50 per hour
Shifts:
Part time: Every other weekend from 6:00-2:00.
Full-time mornings: Shift rotates between 5-11:00, 5:30-1:30, and 6:00-2:00. Off every other weekend and one day during the week.
Full-time The shift would works mostly 11:30-7:30. Works two days per week from 6:00-2:00.
Full-time afternoons: Shift works 11:30-7:30. Off every other weekend and one day during the week.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare therapeutic desserts and salads
- Serve meals in the health center
- Set up and break down dining room tables
- Transport hot and cold foods and nonfood items
- Maintain station equipment and work area in a safe and sanitary condition
- Comply with personal hygiene and dress code standards
- Attend in-service training and education sessions
- Perform specific duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in food service work
- Experience with prep (sandwiches, fruits, and salads)
- Experience in working with seniors preferred
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic
- Ability to plan and organize work, set up trays and plates according to diet orders, and interpret specifications and standards
- Empathy for the elderly and a good attendance record
- Healthcare experience preferred
