What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape/Snow Removal Laborer position at Galles Greenhouse?
Summary:
Landscaper will help create/remodel unique and custom outdoor living spaces, with help of their crew.
Groundskeeper will help to keep and maintain the unique and custom landscapes in their best condition.
We specialize in top quality craftsmanship and pride ourselves on achieving a unique outdoor living space the costumer will love to use year around.
This is a year around position, typically working 6 days a week from 7:00am to 5:30pm. Winter hours may shorten a little.
Duties:
Working as a team to complete the task at large.
Tree, shrub, and perennial planting.
Trimming and maintain the tree, shrubs, perennials.
Pulling weeds.
Build stone pathways, patios, and retaining walls.
Fertilizing flowers and yards.
Bring in and spreading dirt and rock.
Setting boulders by hand and with equipment.
Sprinkler and drip installation.
Repair of broken sprinkler heads and lines.
Attention to detail and ability to complete tasks per requirements.
Ability to perform physical labor, bending, pulling, and lifting 50lbs or more.
Removal and remodel outdoor living spaces.
Landscape and plant knowledge are a plus but will train.
Tracking daily man hours, daily report, and all expenses receipts.
Maintaining a clean and safe job site at all times.
Experience in using and maintaining equipment; trucks, trailers, skid loader, excavator, wheel loader, and other landscape equipment. Willing to train.
Snow removal
Valid driver’s license and driving record insurable under company policy.
Compensation:
$15 per hour minimum, wage determined on experience.
40 to 60 Hrs./ Week, Monday through Saturday. Weekend and Holidays during snow removal season.
Paid Over Time
