Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RBT Trainer to join our team and support the growth and success of our behavior technicians. This role plays a vital part in delivering hands-on training, in-clinic support, and ongoing coaching to ensure RBTs are confident, competent, and aligned with our high standards of care. The role will support our Nebraska clinics (Elkhorn, Lincoln, Gretna & Benson) and require traveling between them!

What To Expect:
- Provide on-the-floor, hands-on training and modeling to new behavior technicians during their onboarding and field training period
- Support technicians in preparation for the RBT exam, including task list guidance, role-playing, and troubleshooting weak areas
- Deliver ongoing training and skill refreshers for current RBTs across clinical topics, data collection, and client engagement strategies
- Observe sessions and offer real-time feedback, coaching, and correction to ensure fidelity to treatment plans, ethical practice, high quality care, and overall professionalism.
- Train the trainers, using this approach to enlist training support from employees
- Collaborate with Clinical Directors, BCBAs, People Ops, etc. to identify team training needs, provide training and track progress
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, skill competency checks, and performance milestones
- Foster a positive and professional learning environment where staff feel supported and empowered, as well as a culture of continuous learning and development
- Implement evaluation strategies to assess the effectiveness of training programs and analyze the feedback to make improvements
- Supports and emphasizes the importance of safety and environmental programs and ensures regulatory compliance
- Provide safety care training across the company as needed
- All other job related duties as assigned
Who You Are
- A credentialed RBT with 2 years of field experience (Required)
- Passionate about mentoring and developing others
- Skilled at giving constructive feedback in a supportive, real-time way
- Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced clinical settings
- Organized, dependable, and proactive
- Familiar with assent-based care and neurodiversity-affirming practices
- Observant, takes initiative and has a strong drive for exceptional performance
- Strong time management skills
