The Galliker Dairy Company, headquartered in Johnstown PA since 1914, has an immediate opening for a Mix Operator at our plant in Johnstown PA. The Galliker Dairy Company is a major Mid-Atlantic dairy processor and distributor of Milk, Iced Tea, and Ice Cream products.

The person filling this position has the primary responsibility of weighing, mixing, blending, teas, milk & Mix products, as well as non dairy & cleaning mix & batching system.
Primary functions of position:
Maintain an inspection ready environment in all areas of production, and warehouse
Has the ability to properly & accurately operate the stand up jack & hand jack, the Liquifier, Pumps, Meters, & related equipment necessary to batch products in preparation for pasteurization, as well as the CIP system.
Must be able to keep the Pasteurizer supplied with product, not causing them to have to wait or recycle the press, leading to downtime.
Generates production sheets within SAP, which balance batch size, along with varying fats & MSNF coming from milk & cream
Properly weighing out mixes in advance
Readily communicates between lab, supervisors, receivers, mix & pasteurizer, filler operators as to the sequencing of batches & tanks.
