Your Role with the Company:
- Prevent potential failures and malfunctions through proactive maintenance efforts
- Collaborate on developing preventative and corrective maintenance programs
- Complete daily tasks efficiently and accurately
- Analyze repair requests and troubleshoot effectively
- Perform installations, assembling, fitting, repairs, and replacements as needed
- Address emergency maintenance and repair needs promptly
- Maintain adequate inventory of maintenance materials and equipment to avoid shortages and excesses
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Operate maintenance equipment safely to prevent accidents
- Keep maintenance tools and equipment in good working condition
- Provide assistance to colleagues when needed
- Participate in job training and safety programs offered by the maintenance department
- Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and OSHA requirements
- Execute maintenance tasks based on visual instructions, blueprints, written descriptions, or oral guidance from your manager
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Preferred experience: 2 years in maintenance for automated machinery in the cosmetics, food, or pharmaceutical industries, focusing on mechanical, electrical, 3-phase power, and 480-volt systems
- Familiarity with conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, compressors, pumps, belts, bearings, preventative maintenance, and PLCs (Ladder Logic, not programming)
- Experience with packaging or batching equipment highly desired
