POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:Responsible for straightening of shafts or plates as needed or required.Other functions of the Straightener

• Follows and enforces all relevant company policies and procedures.
• Performs acceptably within the guidelines of the daily-performance scoring.
• Double-checks processes and routing sheets in advance to prevent errors.
• Double checks quality of work produced within area of responsibility.
• Makes sure part handling and packaging is sufficient to prevent part damage and oxidation.
• Makes sure equipment is used properly.
• Participates in, team related activities.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Fills out work orders and related paper work.
• Tracks supply level of all expendable supplies and fills out order forms as required, for inventory in your department.
• Must count all parts, being straightened, and packed up for shipping, inspect parts for nicks or other damage.
• Any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by the Shift Foreman or designated representative.
• Dresses in an appropriate manner suitable to this position.

Training is provided on the job.StraighteningObjective: to mechanically correct non-conforming dimensions that require checking per specifications.Job Type: Full-timeExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:

• Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
