Job Summary
Gallo Mechanical is seeking our next group of 2025 Summer Interns to join us! During the 8-week paid program, interns will gain industry knowledge, practical skills, workplace experience, and a greater understanding of the HVAC and Plumbing Mechanical Construction Industry. Interns will also learn leadership, relationship-building skills, and project management skills working closely with one of our departments. As a company, we are rapidly growing and looking to identify and groom our future group of talented, high-performing interns to join us in full-time positions.
Potential department assignments will include Administration, BIM (Building Information Modeling), Field (HVAC or Plumbing Helper roles), Project Management, Purchasing, Safety, and Sales.

Internship Details
- Duration: The internship program runs from Monday, June 2 to Friday, July 25. Before applying, please be sure that you are available and committed to working on these specific program dates.
- Work Schedule & Hours: You will be guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week up to 40 total hours per week.
- Compensation: $16.00 per hour
- Internship Location: Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina
Responsibilities
- Support an innovative and productive team; this includes collaborating with peers, managers, and teams.
- Complete assigned training tasks within a specified time and provide timely project status updates.
- Presentation to senior leaders on intern experience at the end of the program.
- Assists project teams in establishing the steps involved in all processes within the project's scope.
- Social media project to help create marketing content to boost our employer brand.
- Peer shadowing another intern within the program to gain more exposure and insight into another department within the company.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Construction/Project Management, Engineering, or a similar field.
- Ideally seeking rising Junior or Senior undergraduates.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to identify and evaluate options, implement solutions, and resolve complex problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
