Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry preparation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality baked goods. This role involves creating a variety of pastries, and desserts while ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met. The Baker will also collaborate with the kitchen staff to support catering events and maintain an efficient workflow in the kitchen. Pay is negotiable depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including donuts, danish , pastries, pies, mixes. Typical bench work with ability to handle volume.
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and place orders as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Baker or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
