Job Overview

Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus, providing detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated to the kitchen staff and bartender efficiently.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times to maintain health standards.
- Prepare food items as needed, adhering to safety and quality guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils between guests.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and manage any special requests from guests.
- Ensure opening, running, and closing duties are completed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or fine-dining setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards is advantageous.
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
