Job Description
JOB TITLE:Campus Supervisor
DESCRIPTION:
Under the general supervision of the Principal or administrator, the Campus Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure campus environment for students and staff.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to):
1.Assist school patrons, visitors, students and staff with the understanding of campus regulations.
2.Direct traffic, monitor parking lots and enforce general campus regulations and report violations.
3.Check restrooms and other enclosed areas regularly to ensure safety of students and staff.
4.Report any criminal activity to immediate supervisor.
5.Monitor and report violations of attendance or tardy policies.
6.Supervise campus at all times to ensure student adherence to school rules.
7.Perform other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training and Experience:
1.Equivalent to the completion of twelfth grade
2.Possess a valid First Aid and CPR Certificate issued by an authorized agency
3.Bilingual preferred, but not required
Skill and Ability to:
1.Administer basic first aid in emergency situations.
2.Demonstrate a self-motivated attitude requiring minimal supervision.
3.Exercise effective written and oral communication.
4.Work cooperatively with various levels of staff to achieve District goals and objectives.
5.Assess options quickly in emergency and/or volatile situations.
JOB PROFILE:
Up to 7.5 hours per day, 180 days per year
SALARY:
Galt Federation of Certificated and Classified Employees, Classified Salary Schedule, Step 2
Employment Requirements:
Fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice.
Skin test or chest x-ray for tuberculosis is required every four years.
Physical examination by a District selected physician may be required upon employment.
Testing:
Applicants for this position may be tested for appropriate skills prior to employment.
