Job Description
GALT Aerospace is seeking a full-time salaried Contracts Specialist to handle the following responsibilities:
- Drafting, evaluating, negotiating, and executing contractual documents, such as Task Order Contracts, Consulting Agreements, Purchase Orders, NDAs, etc.;
- Supporting Contracts Manager in the evaluation, negotiation, and review of Prime contracts with the United States Government;
- Maintaining detailed contractual records;
- Tracking contractual deadlines;
- Supporting the contract lifecycle management workflow; and
- Supporting Contracts Manager in the review and update of GALT processes, procedures, policies, and other compliance documentation.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant area
- 5 years' experience in government contracting
- US. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance
- Proposal development supporting responses to RFP/RFQ/RFIs
- Familiar with FAR/DFARS non-commercial (FAR Part 15) and commercial (FAR Part 12) acquisition
- Attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Strong critical and analytical thinking
- Ability to take initiative, multi-task, and work well under pressure
- Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic environment
Preferred Skills, Experience and Education
- Secret Clearance
- Negotiation skills
- Familiar with ISO quality standards in a production/manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
- Occasionally move about the facility

Pay Scale
At GALT Aerospace, base pay is one part of the total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as one grows and develops within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $76,000-$94,000, and a specific candidate's base pay will depend on their skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
