Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Account Manager to oversee the maintenance accounts we hold as well as sell maintenance contracts. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Manage and coordinate all maintenance treatments to our commercial accounts.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for facilities to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their maintenance needs and provide timely solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory management.
- Utilize technical sales skills to negotiate contracts with vendors for maintenance supplies and services.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on maintenance priorities.
- Engage in business development initiatives to enhance the maintenance department's capabilities.
Experience
- Proven experience in a maintenance management role or similar position within an industrial or commercial setting.
- Strong background in technical sales, including account management and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools for tracking customer interactions and sales opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Experience in warm calling techniques to establish relationships with vendors and service providers is a plus.
- A solid understanding of market trends related to maintenance services and equipment.
