- Serve as the Constituent Resource Coordinator to aid citizens and provide resources.
- Coordinate with neighborhood watch and community organizations.
- Compile statistical data related to crime and criminal activity for deputies.
- Answers telephone and greets visitors; provides information and assistance; directs to appropriate personnel.
- Processes civil papers and assigns to Deputy Constables for execution.
- Returns executed civil papers to courts or attorneys.
- Collects receipts and deposits revenues; balances and reports revenues.
- Performs monthly billing operations.
- Schedules bailiffs for court.
- Files, sends faxes, makes copies, shred documents, and performs data entry.
- Respond to inquiries and requests from other departments and the general public.
- Receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail.
- Oversees inventories of office supplies; reorders as needed.
- Processes travel and training reimbursements.
- Completes required reports.
- Orders and purchases uniforms & equipment.
- Updates temporary/restraining orders notebooks.
- Mails warrant notices.
- Processes payroll.
- Performs related work as assigned.
- Requires High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Requires proficiency in standard computer use, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Requires two years of experience in cash handling, customer service, office support or closely related experience.
