- Installs, repairs, and maintains electrical wiring, control systems, lighting systems, fixtures and equipment.
- Inspects interior and exterior buildings and systems; makes repairs as needed.
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems using hand and power tools
- Ensure the electrical systems comply with state and local building regulations
- Paints county building interiors and exteriors as needed.
- Read electrical wiring diagrams
- Performs related work as assigned.
- Requires High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Electrician apprenticeship program certificate of Journeyman Electrician License
- Valid Texas Driver’s License
