What You Will Be Doing
Translate customer and market needs into product roadmaps, contribute to product development and improvement projects
YOU WILL BE EVALUATED ON YOUR ABILITY TO
- Contribute to product roadmap implementation
- Develop & Maintain Product Configuration
- Recommend concepts to meet functional, military/commercial applications, and customer needs
- Evaluate, document, and implement potential design and process changes to improve product performance or cost utilizing the company Stage Gate Process
- Create product specifications in alignment with Customer Requirements
- Technical lead for new business effort such as proposals, quotes and whitepapers
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. Electrical or Systems Engineering preferred
- 2 years’ experience working in a product development environment or related engineering role required
- Experience and understanding of at least one of the following areas is considered essential: product development cycle in a defense, tactical communications, design-to-cost methodology, military standards
- Strong interpersonal relationship and leadership skills including ability to drive outcomes and accountability
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications / technical requirements
