THE OPPORTUNITY

Create, manage and help drive PDS product portfolio

What You Will Be Doing

Translate customer and market needs into product roadmaps, contribute to product development and improvement projects

YOU WILL BE EVALUATED ON YOUR ABILITY TO

• Contribute to product roadmap implementation
• Develop & Maintain Product Configuration
• Recommend concepts to meet functional, military/commercial applications, and customer needs
• Evaluate, document, and implement potential design and process changes to improve product performance or cost utilizing the company Stage Gate Process
• Create product specifications in alignment with Customer Requirements
• Technical lead for new business effort such as proposals, quotes and whitepapers
  
  

What You Will Need To Succeed

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. Electrical or Systems Engineering preferred
• 2 years’ experience working in a product development environment or related engineering role required
• Experience and understanding of at least one of the following areas is considered essential: product development cycle in a defense, tactical communications, design-to-cost methodology, military standards
• Strong interpersonal relationship and leadership skills including ability to drive outcomes and accountability
• Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications / technical requirements
