Responsibilities
- Engage in landscape maintenance activities such as planting, weeding, mulching, trimming, and pruning to promote healthy growth.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and gardens.
- Assist in the growing of plants in greenhouses or outdoor settings, monitoring their health and development.
- Utilize power tools safely for various gardening tasks including cutting, digging, and shaping landscapes.
- Conduct regular inspections of garden areas to identify pests or diseases and implement appropriate control measures.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscaping projects effectively.
Experience
- Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with farm operations or greenhouse management is a plus.
- Knowledge of plant species, soil types, and horticultural practices will be beneficial.
- Ability to operate power tools and gardening equipment safely and efficiently.
