Description : Role Overview :
The client is seeking an Associate Attorney with 24 years of business litigation experience to join their Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group in their Orlando office. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in complex business litigation matters in both state and federal courts with substantial experience in written and document discovery pleadings motions and court filings.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage complex business litigation matters including conducting and managing discovery researching and drafting pleadings and motions and preparing witnesses for testimony.
- Appear for status conferences and argue motions in state and federal courts .
- Conduct and defend depositions .
- Participate in settlement conferences and negotiations and assist with trial preparation .
- Interact directly with partners and clients demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude .
