Job Description
The client is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Economics Teacher to inspire and educate high school students in the principles of economics. The ideal candidate will create engaging lesson plans foster critical thinking and equip students with skills to understand economic concepts and apply them to realworld scenarios.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans covering microeconomics macroeconomics and personal finance.
- Foster a classroom environment conducive to learning and respectful discussions.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources including technology to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress through assignments projects quizzes and exams.
- Provide feedback and support to students to help them improve academically and personally.
- Stay updated on economic trends educational strategies and curriculum developments.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and participate in staff meetings and professional development.
- Encourage critical thinking and problemsolving through discussions case studies and current events.
- Support schoolwide events extracurricular activities and initiatives as needed.
