Description
The client is seeking an exceptional Middle & High School Math Teacher to join its growing faculty for the 2025-2026 school year. Must be comfortable being in person on campus with students.
Essential Skills and Experience
A Masters Degree or equivalent experience from an accredited institution, ideally with a focus in Math.
Minimum of two years of teaching experience in Math.
Strong knowledge of Algebra I & II, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. Familiarity with topics like probability and statistics, graph theory, and calculus is a plus.
A strong commitment to continuous learning and growth as an educator.
A collaborative approach to work, along with the ability to take initiative when needed.
Excellent classroom management abilities and a proven skill in differentiating instruction to meet diverse student needs.
Nonessential skills and experience
Eagerness to learn new technology and systems.
Strong analytical abilities and enthusiasm for data-driven instruction.
Very resourceful and adaptive, eager to embrace change, growth, and learning.
Experience working closely with diverse families.
Responsibilities
Teach assigned classes, delivering effective and professional instruction, assessment, and classroom management.
Instruct students in Algebra, Geometry, Functions & Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.
Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to tailor the curriculum to individual student needs.
Develop and implement curriculum and teaching strategies that align with the program's mission, values, and standards.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instructional practices.
Foster strong communication and relationships with students and their families.
Complete required reports and tasks (e.g., lesson plans, grading, parent / student correspondence, exams, attendance) in a timely and professional manner.
Design and administer Math assessments to evaluate student competency and inform individual learning plans.
Assist with SAT and ACT preparation.
Maintain a growth mindset toward teaching practices and work toward professional development goals.
Help uphold school policies, regulations, and expectations.
Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with faculty, staff, and community partners for the benefit of students and classes.
Support the Principal and administrative leadership team.
Participate in in-service workshops, meetings, and other defined activities, as well as contribute to school life.
Represent the school at community or public events with the highest ethical standards.
Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned by the administration.
Ensure the supervision and safety of students during classes and at all times when on or off campus.
