Responsibilities
- Keep assigned service area and stations clean and stocked according to company standards.
- Provide proactive support to the floor team and guests.
- Aid promptly with pre-bussing and bussing tables and clearing any floor debris.
- Take soiled tableware to dish pit and unload, sort and stack silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in designated areas in the soiled dish drop off area.
- Ensure all empty tables are properly always reset and “seat ready”.
- Inspect assigned restroom every 30 minutes and clean as needed.
- Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to table attendants as needed.
- Communicate with server and host to assure efficient seating, table use and customer service.
- Assist with event preparations and duties.
- Welcome guests as they are arriving.
- Thank guests as they are leaving.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Currently TABC certified.
- Must have current Texas Food Handler Certification.
- Willingness to cross-train preferred.
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus.
- Strong English language skills is preferred.
- Be able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
- Must be able to execute job requirements at an accelerated rate.
- Be able to work in a standing position for prolonged periods of time (up to 5 hours).
