We specialize in inflatables, carnival games, attractions, movie screens, and event support services for schools, churches, businesses, and private parties. We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor who can also serve as an Event Manager during our busy weekends. This position is seasonal and hours are minimal in November through March.
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Game Craze warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, equipment maintenance, and preparation for events. On weekends, this role transitions into an Event Manager role, taking responsibility for the setup, execution, and breakdown of rentals and managing on-site staff to ensure a successful event experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Supervisor Duties (Weekdays):
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory tracking, restocking, and cleaning of rental items.
- Coordinate loading and unloading of delivery trucks.
- Perform regular inspections and light maintenance on rental equipment to ensure safety and quality standards.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to prepare orders, track repairs, and manage logistics.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Event Manager Duties (Weekends):
- Serve as a working manager on-site lead for weekend events, ensuring timely setup, execution, and breakdown.
- Part of event crew, but also supervise event crew, assign roles, and lead by example in customer service and professionalism.
- Act as the main point of contact for the client during the event, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and properly during events.
- Communicate post-event feedback to the Operations Manager to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse operations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Comfortable working with tools and equipment; basic mechanical aptitude a plus.
- Must be available to work weekends and flexible hours, especially during peak season.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions during events.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (CDL is a plus).
