Position Summary

Excel Sports Management is seeking an experienced Coordinator, Brand Marketing to advise a key corporate client on their MLB sponsorship and other sports marketing investments by providing end-to-end solutions, including strategy, negotiation, activation, implementation, event management and measurement. This person will create meaningful, strategic, and inspiring brand concepts, ideas, stories, and experiences for our clients. This role will be based in New York, New York.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day management of Excel Sports Management (ESM) Brand Marketing clients across all sponsorship marketing and activation initiatives with an emphasis on baseball
• Build and maintain positive client relationships that result in enhanced partnerships and increased ESM opportunities
• Facilitate and support the daily client interaction across brand, property and agency partners to support the sponsorship function and associated programming
• Support the development of creative platforms and new consumer engagement activations across current and future client sponsorship opportunities
• Coordinate client-partner relationships and necessary activation deliverables on behalf of clients inclusive of day-to-day account processes and asset fulfillment
• Create activation briefs, recaps, event itineraries and staff plans
• Plan and support client status calls which include scheduling, preparing agendas, and creating/maintaining status documents
• Support the Brand Marketing team by reconciling budgets and providing on-going client updates
• Support teammates across the group to ensure flawless client-service and a second-to-none agency experience
• Conduct research, analysis and provide recommendations to gain greater knowledge of our industry
  
  

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 1-2 years of experience in sponsorship or brand marketing strategy and activation at a brand, property or agency preferred
• Baseball knowledge and experience desired

The pay range for this position is: $65,000- $70,000 per year. This position is also eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus.

Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
