Responsibilities:
- Injections (Testosterone, Gonadorelin, B12 and other vitamins)
- Maintaining accurate records in EMR and adhering to all HIPAA Protocols
- Assisting in lab operations
- Ensuring all lab results are input into patient charts
- Scheduling appointments
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Obtain and record patient vital signs
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform phlebotomy and collect lab specimens
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits
- Maintain medical equipment and supplies
- Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy
- Provide excellent patient service and support
Requirements:
- Certification or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Previous experience in a hospital, outpatient clinic, or Level II Trauma Center preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration and knowledge of anatomy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
