Parker's newest Gameday Men's Health Clinic is looking for an outgoing and detail-oriented Medical Assistant. Gameday Men's Health is the fastest growing men's clinic franchise in the country, and specializes in testosterone replacement, erectile dysfunction, weight loss and vitamin therapy. The Medical Assistant position is ideal for a person who is interested in the growing men's health and hormone replacement medical field, and has a passion for providing excellent customer service and helping men achieve healthier lives.
Rate: $23-$27/hr dependent upon experience.
Job Duties:
- Greeting patients and completing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments or collecting consent forms and payment
- Collecting and processing lab samples via phlebotomy and capillary sampling
- Providing intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, such as testosterone, gonadorelin, B12, and other medications
- Updating the electronic medical record (EMR) with patient vitals and lab results
- Assisting the medical provider with patient care and procedures such as shockwave therapy and p-shots
- Providing exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns, answering questions, and providing support
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment

- Ability to prioritize and manage daily tasks in an efficient manner
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees and patients
- Meticulous and detail-oriented person to ensure patient safety and accurate reporting

- Handle confidential and sensitive information as defined in Federal HIPAA guidelines
Competencies, Qualifications, Education, and Experience
- No current or pending malpractice lawsuits
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified Phlebotomist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques, including IM and SQ
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask efficiently, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
