Job Description:
Gameday Men's Health is seeking a skilled, personable, and passionate Medical Assistant to join our revolutionary men's health program in the vibrant city of Murrieta, CA. We're looking for a team-player, someone who is outgoing and can create a warm comfortable environment for our patients, someone who's a go-getter and likes the challenge of a dynamic environment.
We are not just providing healthcare – we're creating an unforgettable experience for our patients in our man-cave inspired clinic, complete with flat-screen TVs, comfortable chairs, hardwood floors, and sports memorabilia. We specialize in testosterone replacement therapy and other cutting-edge men's health services.
Your Responsibilities:
* Greet patients, answer phone calls, and handle check-in/check-out procedures
* Perform blood draws and administer injections of testosterone, Gonadorelin, B12, and other vitamins
* Check patient vitals and accurately record them in our EMR system
* Ensure lab results are promptly input into patient charts
* Assist medical providers with patient care and be an integral part of our healthcare team
* Assist in lab operations and maintain precise records in compliance with HIPAA
* Schedule appointments and keep our clinic running smoothly
⠀Qualifications:
* Valid Medical Assistant Certification
* Valid BLS Certification
* At least 1 year of experience in phlebotomy and medical assisting
* Experience in a related field, such as general practice, med spas, urology, family practice, lab, or endocrinology (preferred)
* Knowledge of medical terminology
