We're seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at our Smyrna, GA location. This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about contributing to a pioneering health program dedicated to improving men's lives.
Job Summary
The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for:
- Performing phlebotomy (blood draws) for patients
- Administering injections, including testosterone, gonadorelin, B12, and other vitamins
- Monitoring patient vitals and recording them in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Ensuring accurate lab results are documented in patient charts
- Providing assistance to medical providers during patient care
- Greeting patients and maintaining a welcoming environment
- Aiding in laboratory operations
- Maintaining accurate records in EMR and adhering to HIPAA protocols
- Scheduling appointments
Requirements
Candidates should possess relevant experience in fields such as medspas, urology, family practice, laboratories, endocrinology, gynecology, or general practice. A clean professional history, free from current or pending malpractice lawsuits, is also required.
Work Details
This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20-$23 per hour, with a typical schedule of 35 hours per week. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday are standard workdays, with occasional variations possible.
The work setting will be in a clinic environment, with in-person interactions and outpatient responsibilities.
