Location: Evanston, IL (Northwestern University)

Part-Time | 10-30 Hours per Week | Nights & Weekends Required

Join the thrilling environment of Northwestern University Athletics as a Retail & Warehouse Associate with Gameday Spirit Fanstore! This role offers an exciting opportunity to represent the Official Fanstore of the Wildcats, working in a warehouse and on-site retail capacity at venues like Ryan Field & Welsh-Ryan Arena.

As part of our team, you will be cross-trained in retail store operations, on-site concessions, and warehouse management. Your work will directly contribute to providing fans, alumni, and students with the best selection of Northwestern University merchandise while enjoying the high-energy atmosphere of game days and campus events.

Key Responsibilities:

Event & Retail Operations:

• Set up and tear down event merchandise stations at sporting events.
• Process sales transactions using a POS system at events and in-store.
• Engage with customers, answering questions and ensuring exceptional service.
• Staff all home football games (typically 6 per season) and NU Surplus Sales (1 per year) with additional opportunities to work at other sporting events (soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, etc.).
  
  

Warehouse & Inventory Management:

• Receive, count, and tag new merchandise from vendors like Under Armour, Champion, and Tommy Bahama.
• Organize and maintain backstock shelving for easy access and inventory control.
• Pull and transfer inventory from the warehouse to retail stores and event locations.
• Fulfill, process, and ship online orders using designated web fulfillment systems.
  
  

General Duties:

• Maintain a clean and organized concession stand and work area.
• Follow company policies and contribute to the efficient flow of merchandise.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support store and warehouse operations.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be available to work nights & weekends based on event schedules.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (boxes, merchandise, etc.).
• Reliable transportation to and around campus.
• Must have a valid form of ID and adhere to an established work schedule.
