Job Description:
GameON! Fitness is on the lookout for enthusiastic and passionate coaches to deliver out-of-school-time services focused on sports, and health and wellness activities, leading with SEL techniques. If you love working with kids, have experience coaching sports, and want to inspire the next generation to lead active, healthy lifestyles, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging sports sessions, including soccer, lacrosse, baseball, kickball, and more.
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment where all participants feel encouraged to succeed.
- Teach the fundamentals of sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical fitness.
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs and abilities of participants of various ages and skill levels.
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all participants during activities.
- Represent GameON! Fitness professionally and enthusiastically.
Requirements:
- Must be available to start work as early as 3:00 PM.
- Prior experience coaching youth sports or leading physical activity programs.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work with children of varying ages and abilities.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Reliable transportation to travel to different program locations as needed.
- Passion for promoting health, wellness, and active living.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in CPR/First Aid.
- Background in physical education, coaching, or related fields.
- Knowledge of additional sports and wellness activities.
