Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Direction: Provide visionary leadership to senior managers and heads of sub-teams, aligning them with the company's overall mission and goals.
- Performance and Results Accountability: Hold full accountability for the performance and results of multiple sub-teams or a large, strategically important team, setting and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess effectiveness and efficiency.
- Strategic Contribution: Contribute to the development and implementation of the overall strategy for the department, identifying opportunities for leveraging data to drive business insights and innovation.
- Planning, Staffing, and Budgeting: Oversee the planning, staffing, and budgeting processes for the team, ensuring effective resource allocation within budgetary constraints.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with executive stakeholders and peers to ensure alignment and support for data initiatives, communicating data strategies, progress, and outcomes to executive leadership and other key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) preferred.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in data management, analytics, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, managing large teams and complex projects.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful data strategies in a large organization.
