A Standard Day
Event days vary, from a single event, a double, triple and during busy season up to four in a single day. (Yes those are long days!). As an event host, you would arrive an hour before the first party with time to inspect your equipment, make sure everything is ready to roll, then head out toward your events arriving 20 to 30 minutes early with plenty of time to set up. You would then host the event, collect payment, close up the trailer and head to the next event. After the last event you head back to the depot to close your shift where you would perform a “digital handoff” leaving notes for the driver for the next day.
Successful Applicants
Our top employees enjoy working with kids and understand we are hosting kids' birthdays. A ten year old’s birthday is a lifetime event where up to 16 of their friends can attend. Therefore, it is super important that we show up. If you can manage chaotic situations with calm enthusiasm, you will likely enjoy working for GameTruck Portland.
