About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join our team at Gamez Law Firm in San Antonio, TX. As a Litigation Attorney, you will have the opportunity to represent clients in legal proceedings, provide legal advice, and ensure the best possible outcome for our clients. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of litigation experience and be comfortable handling cases from inception through trial.

Responsibilities :

• Represent clients in court
• Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings and motions
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
• Advise clients on legal rights and obligations

Requirements :

• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar of Texas
• Strong background in motion practice, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines
• Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
• Courtroom experience, including handling hearings and trials
• Strong negotiation skills and experience handling settlements
