Responsibilities
- Advise clients on cybersecurity preparedness, data breach response, and regulatory compliance.
- Support investigations and regulatory inquiries related to data privacy and cybersecurity.
- Build and maintain compliance programs for U.S. federal and state privacy laws (NIST, CCPA, CPA, BIPA, HIPAA, WMHMDA, among others).
- Assist with data privacy due diligence and M&A transactions.
- Draft privacy policies and negotiate data processing agreements.
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of cybersecurity and data privacy experience.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence and emerging technologies is a plus.
- Strong academic credentials and solid law firm experience preferred.
- Experience in federal government or law enforcement on cybersecurity or privacy matters is welcome.
- Active Bar membership in good standing.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $260,000 – $390,000 (plus discretionary bonus)
