Gamoran Legal Consulting is seeking a mid-level health care litigation associate for an AmLaw 100 firm’s national health care practice in Charleston.
Key Qualifications :
- Experience : Minimum of 4 years in health care or complex litigation, with substantial writing experience and the ability to work independently.
- Litigation Skills : Strong background in litigation, including drafting motions and briefs, and preparing depositions. Preference for candidates with federal litigation experience.
- Health Care Focus : Experience in health care reimbursement compliance, defense, and litigation—particularly involving government and private payer disputes—is a strong plus.
- Legal Credentials : JD required, along with active South Carolina bar admission. Federal clerkship experience preferred.
- Core Competencies : High academic achievement, significant litigation or clerkship experience, and excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to Adapt : The ideal candidate will be able to navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively.
