JOB OVERVIEW
The Communications Specialist develops and implements innovative strategic communications to key internal and external stakeholders in a collaborative environment. This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with the ability to multitask and adapt to varying demands. To ensure success, the Communications Specialist is innovative and organized with a passion for effective communication, design talent, copywriting and editing skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Develop, write, and edit engaging content for communication channels, including newsletters, social media posts, blog articles, and email campaigns, ensuring alignment with the company's voice and brand.
- Manage social media accounts, including scheduling, monitoring, and engaging with audiences to drive community growth and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with the team to create and execute marketing and communication strategies that support company objectives and align with branding.
- Continuously monitor industry trends, audience preferences, and best practices to recommend innovative content ideas and enhancements.
- Analyze and report on the performance of communication efforts, including social media metrics, email campaign analytics, and engagement trends, to identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to team discussions to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
- Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to brainstorm and develop content ideas that support brand initiatives.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as maintaining communication schedules, managing databases, and organizing files for efficient workflow.
- Participate in the review and approval process for communication materials, ensuring alignment with key milestones and company objectives.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position will primarily work in an office setting. The office environment is professional, collaborative, and conducive to focused work. The typical office amenities and equipment, including computers, phones, and other necessary tools, will be provided. This position may require minimal travel.
