">Job Summary
">The Residential Counselor will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client. This role requires strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as a commitment to promoting the dignity and autonomy of each client.
">Duties and Responsibilities
">- Manage daily activities, including scheduling appointments, coordinating transportation, and facilitating communication among clients, families, and community partners.
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes and case management documentation.
- Facilitate regular meetings with clients, families, and community partners to ensure effective communication and collaborative problem-solving.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, addressing the unique needs and goals of each client.
- Provide education and advocacy to clients and their families on issues related to their health, rights, and empowerment.
- Assist clients in enhancing their daily living skills through practical experience and training.
- Support clients in making informed decisions about their lives, promoting autonomy and self-determination.
Requirements and Qualifications
">- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or bachelor's degree in human services field preferred.
- At least one year of experience working with psychiatric clients preferred.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving history required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates encouraged to apply.
