Position Summary: This position is responsible for applying industrial powder coat paint to produce high-quality parts on time. Processes and tracks job orders through the paint department and prepares shipping documents to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
Job Skills and Knowledge:
· Ability to match products to blueprints, and read bills of materials and routings.

· Reads and interprets shipping and receiving documents.
· General computer skills.
Primary Key Requirements and Responsibilities:
· Timely clock on all job orders as they are hung on the paint line.
· Review identifying production information and verify part counts per job order.
· Accurately claim quantities and clock off all job orders as they are unloaded from the paint line and packaged.
· Provide direction and assistance for packaging of parts to ensure safe transportation and prevent damage in transit.
· Prepare shipping and customer-required documents for external shipments.
· Properly tag parts for internal distribution.
· Clean up and properly store department supplies and maintain a neat and orderly work area.
· Keep production supervisor advised of concerns or issues.

Secondary Job Requirements and Responsibilities:
· Apply powder coat paint evenly to parts to ensure consistent paint finish within mill thickness tolerances.
· Verify parts are properly masked, plugged, or protected per print, routing, or work instruction.
· Perform color changes, blow out lines, and paint guns.
· Maintain proper powder paint levels in cannisters, fill when necessary.
· Cross-train to other paint line positions.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Manufacturing experience of 1-3 years, shipping experience preferred.
- Previous powder coating experience preferred.
- General computer skills.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- No weekends
