Position Summary
Career Readiness Learning Objectives:
The hired student will participate in research projects related to AI applications in manufacturing and more. Main tasks include data collection from devices (such as 3D printers and CNC machines), data pre-processing, machine learning model establishment, training, and testing, experimental data analysis, and paper writing. The Student Worker will work directly with faculty members, gaining hands-on experience in 3D printing, machining, and AI. This role presents a unique opportunity for students to contribute to cutting-edge research in a multidisciplinary team, enhancing their academic and professional skills. Faculty members will advise the student worker.
- Communication: The Student Worker will clearly and effectively communicate with (1) the Principal Investigators (PIs) and (2) participants for coordinating the experiment sessions and executing research experiments.
- Professionalism: The Student Worker will demonstrate punctuality and respect for both PIs and colleagues. The Student Worker will prioritize and complete tasks to accomplish the research goals.

Required Qualifications

Familiar with one programming language such as Python.
Fundamental understanding of machine learning.
