Job Summary:

Ganvie Home Care Agency is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide high-quality, non-medical home care and assistance to clients in need. Caregivers will support clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of mobility aids as needed.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, or social activities.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health, behavior, or home environment to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow all care plans and ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or a related field is a plus.
• Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and support clients as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (if applicable).
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
