Responsibilities
- Work closely with writers, designers, and other team members to improve content quality and coherence, verify distinctions, timing, and organization of content.
- Maintain consistency of the content, style, tone and voice, ensuring it meets the company’s guidelines.
- Proofread, edit, and ensure quality of various types of content including manuals, leader guides, slide decks and other supporting materials.
- Ensure text is free of grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors.
- Synchronize content between slides and manuals
- Collaborate with team members regarding strategic priorities
- Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years’ previous experience in editing or writing is preferred but not required.
- Internships, student publications, or freelance editing experience is beneficial.
- Exceptional grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in editing.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
