MISSION AND SERVICE:
- Exemplify and support the Mission, Mission Statements and Core Values of GAP Ministries.
- Demonstrate GAP Ministries’ attributes of an effective culture champion which include servant leadership, communication, respect, accountability, integrity, teamwork and positive attitude.
- Comply with GAP Ministries’ Code of Conduct and Ethics and HIPAA privacy and confidentiality requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide general office cleaning, keeping office and waiting room areas looking nice for the general public.
- Handle incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or extension.
- Greet public or business professionals entering the office. Guide them to appropriate staff member or information and ensure a
positive first impression. .
- Provide hospitality services including but not limited to schedule, set up and break down of all conference rooms.
- Assist departments with thank you cards, sympathy, and get well and birthday cards for employees, volunteers, and donors.
- Facilitate the pickup of all donations dropped off at the office to ensure that they go to the correct facility.
- You will also be registered as Fieldprint Technician, which will allow you to complete fingerprints to the public as well as staff
and scan I9 Documentation.
- Help in coordination of volunteers and volunteer projects.
- Back up administrative positions for vacation or extra help.
- Assist GAP administrative team with projects as assigned.
- Attend all staff meetings and training sessions, or make arrangements.
- Personally grow in leadership and spiritual life to exemplify the characteristics of a cultural champion.
- Represent GAP to the public in a positive, professional, and responsible manner.
- Follow agency chain of command in a responsible and supportive manner. Be able to accept constructive feedback and suggestions
for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two years of administrative office management experience, reception experience, or equivalent customer related ability.
- Education High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Computer skills as well as communication skills.
- Proven ability to effectively function in a multi-faceted agency in a teamwork manner.
- Be able to respect and work cooperatively with a variety of persons, including coworkers, representatives of social service agencies, the public, volunteers, and parents of the children.
- Be organized and able to work on multiple projects.
- Basic knowledge of the different department staff roles and responsibilities in order share to the community at large about the mission of GAP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude reflecting an approach style of bringing solutions not problems to the team.
- Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and consistently exercise discretion and good judgment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Successfully pass FBI fingerprint clearance check and procure a Fingerprint Clearance Car Successful clearance of criminal background check(s), Central Registry in Arizona and any state(s) lived in within 5 years of hire in accordance with Title 21.
- Reference checks of those listed on application.
- Must pass mandatory drug screen and physical examination; and agree to random drug screenings. GAP Ministries is a drug-free workplace and requires random drug screening to all employees to ensure enforcement of this policy.
- Proficient in the use of a personal computer and corresponding programs; preferably experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Gmail and Google Calendar or similar web-based and computer programs.
- Must be able to demonstrate navigations and knowledge of computer.
- Must be able to pass a typing test
- Kneel, bend, stoop and lift freely and without risk of injury.
- Human Resource package completed.
